Currently most of local subsidiaries in the United States, Great Britain, Germany, France and China belong to Ferrari. However despite of the fact that Japan is the second-largest market for Ferrari in the world today the interests of the company in this region are still represented by an independent importing firm. Ferrari intends to change the situation and take all the matters into own hands. With this purpose in view the company is opening in Japan its office on July 1.
Cornes & Co., the erstwhile importer will continue selling and servicing Ferrari alongside Rolls-Royce, Maseratis and Bentleys.
Japan is considered to be the world largest luxury market with high wealth concentration. In comparison with other cars the sales level of Ferraris is constantly rising here. The company is going to control this trend directly through its new Japanese office.
